Spring Of Hope

Enabling Rural Communities to Help their Disabled Children

Jessica

Spring of Hope is an initiative focused on the needs of disabled children in rural communities in Uganda, Africa. It was started in August 2004 and is part of the international, voluntary, interdenominational Christian organisation, Youth With A Mission (YWAM).

Originally our aim was to work only in Uganda’s Kangulumira sub-county. However, due to demand, we now cover a much larger area, working in both the Kayunga and Mukono districts.

Youth With A Mission

YWAM has three main areas of operation: evangelism, training and mercy ministries. It operates in 900 locations, in 140 countries across the world and has been running since 1960. It’s Ugandan arm started in 1986 and has 6 bases across Uganda.
